To CHOC Region 3 - The travel and tourism industry is experiencing uncertain times as the perception of the public is that the risks posed by COVID-19 warrant the rescheduling/postponing of planned industry events. CHOC recognizes these concerns and is rescheduling your town hall meeting scheduled for MARCH 19th. We will share the new dates and locations with you as soon as travel restrictions are eased and we can start looking at our calendars in a GOOD way. But, because we want to continue to be a resource for you and your staff during the challenges that are being posed by COVID-19, it is our intention to have several virtual regional check-ins with you to understand the variable situations in the different areas within our regions. We will send a calendar of "chat" dates and ask that you join us so that we can share practices that are working and those that may not be working. We will communicate any updates that we have regarding resources that may be beneficial to you and ask you to share any that you have with us. It will take all of us pulling together stronger than we ever have before. We must choose to support, educate, and understand the joys and pains of our friends in the Industry so that we all become stronger. We might individually suffer in silence, but as a team we can all prevail! CHOC is here for you and we are working for you!!!!
